What a day! Only 40 minutes by train from Copenhagen you find a piece of heaven on earth – get directions here. It’s called Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. And it’s spectacular – why not bring a picnic bag and start outside, enjoying the fresh air.

My friend Mikaela brought a cooler bag with home baked scones, pizza, tapenade… and apple virgin bubbles!

Haha, passing this fellow on the way to the restrooms ;)

Artist Emil Nolde, a German painter and filmmaker (1867-1956) is enlightening the exhibition right now:

And from New York School painter and printmaker Philip Guston (1913-1980) takes it away also. One of my personal Louisiana favorites.

From the Louisiana entrance: Inviting, exciting – a must see when you’re in Copenhagen.
