Well, hello there ;) Just came home from fabulous London, and here’s some highlights from our great trip. Here’s Mama Norway and Marie on the London escalator, having just arrived.
Compared to Copenhagen, I think London is such a BIG cosmopolitan city. The shopping guruish Oxford Street is particularly busy – with the local English keeping left as the tourists keep right – LOL! So – fortunately this lovely hotspot is blessed with small side streets where you can take a break from the powershopping and the many people, and just chill with a coffee, fresh fruit and a Caramel Dream for instance from one of the many Starbucks…
Just love to sit and watch London life pass by:
Visiting London always make me decide to wear high heels more often. Unfortunately, after 24 hours back in Copenhagen I always return to my flats – oh well…
Inspiration is everywhere:
Best tip: Buy an Oyster card for bus (and train) and hop on hop off – and enjoy looking at London life from the top floor of the bus! Nice price – only GBP 29 for seven days.
Hopping off at Buckingham Place I told stranger Nicage he’s got such a cool look. Trendy classic – I like:
Yep, it’s all in the details; his shoes, his sunglasses, his hairdo. And not to forget the discreet smell of his perfume which I noticed when I was about to pass him, maybe that was the icing on the fashion cake that made me stop him :D I never got to ask him the name of the perfume, but it sure teams up with this sweet fashionista guy perfectly.
The fence at Buckingham Palace always reminds me of Princess Diana; all the flowers placed there by the people after her tragic accident, may she rest in peace <3.
Experiencing the PediBus was a major London entertaining moment:
Hang on to the blog for the final post of this London trip – coming up on Thursday (O:
