Welcome to Christiania :) I have interviewed quite a handful Copenhageners, both inhabitants and tourists – who recommend taking a trip to this special freetown. It’s a self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood of about 850 residents – and like entering a completely different world.
My blog intern Annette (below) grabbed her camera, went to Christiania. And here’s what she saw…
Even a piece of Christiania wood is… less woody (;
And here’s a glimpse of Recycling Christiania. Hey, they love wine, too!
Lots of cosy cafes, where you can watch Colorful Christiania Life pass by. Here’s a guide to eating as well as other must-sees/dos.
And pretty flowers, surrounded by the raw beauty of competing graffiti.
ChristianiaShop.dk – maybe worth a cyber visit, too? (O:
Find it hard to describe the picture below. Beauty combined with a sense of raw…? Please help me by adding a comment, if a suitable description comes to your mind!
And whooa… back to a completely different world. Me enjoying the sun at Strøget, the main Copenhagen shopping street. Not so much graffiti on the wall of the Louis Vuitton store!
Ps. I’m showing off the latest prize in our lottery, there’s a Charles Eames Rocking Chair at stake as well. Yep, come to Fredagsbar in Copenhagen, let’s meet – read more.
Peace & Blog Love,
