Here I am in Stavanger, Norway, where I was born. Lovely view of the harbor, even on a rainy day

Hey, have you noticed it’s snowing on the blog?

Well, well, well, it’s time to move on. I’ve been a CPH BLONDE blogger for five fabulous years now – and I will continue. In Norwegian

So, no more blog posts in English, future blog posts will be in Norwegian. That is, I will still keep a special section in English and write posts to help expat women settle well in Copenhagen, this will all happen in the Expats Only section. The posts here may also be relevant for you English speaking guys traveling short term to Copenhagen, so give the new section a chance :)

So why now in Norwegian? I guess I feel I’ve said most of what I wanted to say in English, about Copenhagen and Copenhagen lifestyle. And I guess I need more Norway in my life.

During the last year I’ve renewed my connection to Norway, where I was born and grew up. It’s been such a personal journey. Due to family business I’ve been a frequent traveler, sharing my time between Denmark and Norway.

I have loved to spend so much time with especially my Mama Norway (left) and my sister – true bonding! But also old friends – and aunts, such a pleasure to get to know them better, and at the same time nurture my Norwegian identity.

At the time being, I’ve actually spent exactly half my life in Norway – and half my life in Denmark. Feels a little bit weird.

I don’t know about you, if you’ve lived in a foreign country for a long time? I love both my countries, and I’m still very happy to live in Copenhagen:

What happens next: This CPH BLONDE blog will slowly be transformed from English into a Norwegian site, also our Facebook. Old blog posts in English – almost a 1.000 of them – will remain in English, so please try the search field if you need any information about Copenhagen; cafes, restaurants and you name it.

Thank you so much for reading along, Copenhagen friend, and hope you still would like to step by my blog once in a while!

Take care – let’s celebrate life, let’s celebrate you :)

Peace & Love,
a-g

Ps. I find it almost impossible not to fall in love with Copenhagen, even the peacocks in Tivoli Gardens are sweet and easygoing:
